The book and beyond

Vaelrün: The Two Brothers is the first book in a planned five-book fantasy series. Author Brian J. Bouton has completed drafts of the first four books in the series, which are now undergoing revision and editing. The first volume will be released in spring 2027.

About the author

Vaelrün began as a gift to Brian Bouton’s two sons, inspired by his lifelong love of storytelling and his career studying and teaching history in high school and college. As a father and historian, Bouton wanted to pass on some of the lessons he has drawn from the past and his own life, woven into a world of fantasy and adventure.
